Damaged Shed and Outbuilding Removal in Phoenix

Metal sheds fail badly in monsoon wind. The roof lifts
first, the frame twists after it, and what is left is a box of sharp edges that
will not survive the next storm and looks terrible in the meantime.

Why a twisted shed is not a repair job

A thin-gauge steel shed gets its strength from its shape. Once the panels
have deformed, the structure is gone — you can bend it roughly back and it
will fail again at the same points. Insurers usually treat a wind-twisted shed
as a replacement rather than a repair for the same reason.

It is also under tension. A frame that has been pushed out of square is
holding load in places it was never meant to, which is why panels spring when
you start cutting. That is the part to leave to someone with the right tools.

Empty it first, if it is safe

Get your things out before we come if you can do it safely. If the structure
is unstable, do not go in — say so and we will open it up carefully and set
the contents aside for you.

Tell us if the contents are going too. That changes the load and the price.

What we remove

  • Metal, timber and plastic garden sheds
  • Small workshops and lean-tos
  • Collapsed or twisted frames still under tension
  • Anchors and bolts cut off flush with the slab
  • The contents, if you want them gone

Most people keep the slab for the replacement shed. Concrete removal is a
separate job and we can quote it if you want the pad gone too.

Photograph it before we arrive

Two sides is enough for a price. If you may be claiming on insurance,
photograph it before anything is moved — a wind-damaged shed is much easier
to argue about with pictures than without.

Common questions

Can a wind-damaged metal shed be repaired?

Rarely. A thin-gauge steel shed gets its strength from its shape, and once the panels deform it fails again at the same points. Most are replaced rather than repaired.

Do you take the concrete slab as well?

That is a separate job and we can quote it, but most people keep the slab for the replacement shed.

Do I have to empty it first?

If it is safe to do so, yes. If the structure is unstable, leave it and tell us, and we will open it carefully and set the contents aside.

Can you salvage anything?

Sometimes. If a door or panel is worth keeping we will set it aside rather than crush it.
